All,

I am trying to monitor memory utilization and CPU impact of some
key IOS processes.

Unfortunately, iterating through all process table, each and every
time I will need to retrieve values for process I can identify
by name (for example "BGP Router"), but I don't know index in
cpmProcessTable, is far from being optimal.

Hence my question -- how persistent are entries in cpmProcessTable?

Can I assume, that as long as configuration of the box has not been
changed, specific process will be represented by entry with the same
index in cpmProcessTable?

Can I build a cache, which will be invalidated any time something
like ccmHistoryRunningLastChanged is changed?

Is there any heuristic available?

Thanks a lot for your assistance,

Przemek
