Does Squid support WCCPv2 now?

If not, use WCCPv1.

Subject: [nsp] REG: WCCP Version 2.0

  Dear All,

I am trying to establish a WCCP channel between a Cisco 7206-VXR router, &
a SQUID Proxy system. When i set the wccp version to 2.0 on the router, I
find that the router id & the router detects itself as a WCCP router. But
when i set the version to 2.0, I get the following output of the command "sh
ip wccp" -

  Global WCCP information:
      Router information:
          Router Identifier: -not yet determined-
          Protocol Version: 2.0

      Service Identifier: web-cache
          Number of Cache Engines: 0
          Number of routers: 0
          Total Packets Redirected: 0
          Redirect access-list: -none-
          Total Packets Denied Redirect: 0
          Total Packets Unassigned: 0
          Group access-list: 9
Total Messages Denied to Group: 0
          Total Authentication failures: 0

Also i get an error msg as follows -
  "WCCP-EVNT:???:Unknown msg_type 7 on Tunnel0 from 192.168.123.2"

  Kindly advise.

  With warm regards,

  Vinod.
