Hi !,

I´m thinking about updating our Cisco AS 5200 in order to make connections
from analogue modems that supports v.90 (56000 bps).

Which version of IOS valid for an AS 5200 with this memory capabilites would
support connections at 56000 (v.90) and also will be stable ?

It has an interface Eth, a WAN interface connected to a E1 and a dual
unbalanced 24 modem (56k) Microcom (image : "mcom-modem-dsp.3.3.20-42.0")
running with an IOS 11.3 (7) T IP feature Pack Release.

I think that we have 16 Mb Flash and 8 Mb RAM.

Anyway, this is the output writing a "sh version" command :

cisco AS5200 (68030) processor (revision F) with 8192K/4096K bytes of
memory.
Processor board ID 11819985
Channelized E1, Version 1.0.
Bridging software.
X.25 software, Version 3.0.0.
Primary Rate ISDN software, Version 1.1.
Mother board with terminator card.
1 Ethernet/IEEE 802.3 interface(s)
33 Serial network interface(s)
24 terminal line(s)
2 Channelized E1/PRI port(s)
128K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.
16384K bytes of processor board System flash (Read ONLY)
8192K bytes of processor board Boot flash (Read/Write)

Thanks,
