Hi Everyone,
Is there a command that can be used to make the PA-A3-OC3MM Interface work
in a Simplex Mode?
What I want to do is only use Transmit with a cellrate of 90Mbps, and plug
this into an ATM Switching Device (Metrodata LA1000). This then plugs into
an ASI Satellite Modem, and at the far end is a Demodulator and similar
LA1000 unit and Cisco 7500.
The LA1000 unit can be configured to work in Simplex Mode and mask alarms
from its unused RX ASI Port. Can the Cisco OC-3 Interface be configured to
shut down or administratively down the RX Port on its OC-3 MM, without
having any errors?
The IOS on the Cisco is version 12.0.19
Any ideas would be appreciated.
