Daniel,
If you just going from LAN to LAN I don't see where you will need
L2TP...(do you need to remotely terminate PPP sessions?) You could
simply configure basic IPSec between the two sites. A sample
configuration is at the link below. You'll find links off that page
detailing more sophisticated setups.
