RE: [nsp] OC3 POS interface.

Are the resets occuring at about the interval of the
keepalive (default 10 sec.)? If so, line protocol is
never really coming up. Look for a physical problem,
most often a bad fiber connector or cable.

Subject: [nsp] OC3 POS interface.

Hi List,

I have an OC3 hooked up to a 7206VXR on either end, both the ends are free
of any alarms(they even show up/up on both ends). But the interface keeps
resetting itself periodically with resultant line protocol going up and
down. HDLC is the default encap, framing is sonet, and have tried all timing
combinations. I am troubleshooting this end-to-end with the carrier.
Meanwhile any ideas/suggestions on this?

Thanks in advance.
