it's not pretty, but this works: telnet into the router running ttcp and
use "show tcp brief" to determine the TCB for the connection. this can
be recognized by the port number: 5001. then "clear tcp tcb <TCB>"
will kill the session. e.g:

inr-001#sho tcp brief
TCB Local Address Foreign Address (state)
622EFA80 thing-one.tier2..23 eponymous.Net.Be.1050 ESTAB
6288FAEC thing-one.tier2..23 eponymous.Net.Be.1106 ESTAB
631BA74C thing-one.tier2..179 thing-two.tier2..11001 ESTAB
622F0460 fast1-0-0.inr-00.11200 inr-100-eva.Berk.5001 ESTAB
inr-001#clear tcp tcb 622F0460
[confirm]
 [OK]
