[nsp] cat5000 vs ls1010 power supplies?

how does one tell the difference between a cat5000 and a ls1010
power supply? they *look* the same (externally), and though there
are some suggestions that they're equivalent, i also remember
smoking one by putting it into the wrong chassis. TIA.
