The 12008 wants a NEMA L6-20R receptacle. 12012s and 12016s that I
have installed have all been -48v, so I don't know about them offhand.

L = twistlock
6 = 220v single phase
20 = 20 amps
R = receptacle

Note that this is *DIFFERENT* from what a 7507 (NEMA 5-15R, standard
120v wall outlet) or the 7513 (NEMA 5-20R, 20A 120v wall outlet, the
kind that instead of looking like |.| looks like |.- )

If you use the NEMA identifiers and the electricians nevertheless
screw up, it's their fault not yours -- this is the standard way to
describe outlets in the US. IIRC there are NEMA outlet references on
www.hubbell.com and www.leviton.com.
