Indeed. This is perhaps why using metaphors isn't the best, as it
invites thinking along those lines, which leads to ... well, things
that weren't intended, or as in this case aren't possible.

Even when that neighbor is yourself? The discussion was with regards to
an IGP, rather than an EGP.

Still, I agree, redistribition is often a tool best left on the shelf.
