Good comments on CEF:
Cisco7507 / RSP4 / 4*VIP2/50 (all with 128DRAM/8SRAM)
2*PA-1FEISL, 2*PA-2FEISL, 2*PA-A3 (all new HWrev !)
has been running with "ip cef" for a week now without any problem
VERY BAD comments on dCEF:
this morning we tried to switch to "ip cef distributed"
It crashed 3 of the 4 VIPs within 30 seconds and ongoing.
After "no ip cef distributed" finally the whole router
went in a "hangup" state -> manual power cycle required.
Fortunately we have captured the whole console log. Going to open
a TAC case.
I'm keeping the list informed if there are any news.
