We are using 12.0(7)T and it certainly is stable. The only
problem we have had was that some lines were disabled with the notation
VIRTUAL EXEC and could only be cleared with a reload. This has happened
only on one machine out of sixteen running the same version.
It is listed as a 'caveat' on the Cisco web page and was described as a
bug when I contacted the TAC (bug id is CSCdp33819). They recommended an
upgrade to 12.1(5)T which I haven't done because of the increased memory
requirements involved. The problem has not re-appeared for about a month
now.
