i have installed the tacas(F4.02) on my linux(redhat 6.2), and use cisco 2511 to test the authentication.(with aaa authentication login default tacas+).
however, i found that the authentication can not be performed using the passwd file. If i directly input the password
for users with login = cleartext xxxxxxxx, it works. however, when i use login = file /etc/shadow or default authentication = file /etc/shadow, i can't login. the error message is passwd timeout. i have checked the passwd and it is working. please advise
