Hi!

BGP is based on TCP and hence if you have a connectivity ( may be through
may be through many routers ) you should be able to do BGP.. To do BGP with
the same AS .. That is You are usiong IBGP . If it is with different AS then
you can use multi hop command and eastablish bgp with that AS..

Lastly NO QUESTION IS DUMB.... ONLY SUCH QUESTIONS LEAD TO INVENTIONS AND
DISCOVERIES.......
