RE: [nsp] 7500 trouble

GEIP's are VIP-50's with different microcode (IMHO), somewhere there's
a little id code that says "I'm a GEIP", and IOS downloads GEIP-ware
instead of generic VIP-ware. If that's been altered, then the probably
become VIP's, though Cisco might have issues with that. The GEIP's
PA's are standard PA-GE's.

The GEIP+ is a stranger bird, it's a VIP4 with a double wide "PA-GE",
that appearently interfaces to *both* PA slots on the VIP to get a bit
better data rate. Obviously, there's room for a GEIP++ if the VIP8
ever surfaces with 2x "VXR" PA slots.

The VIP's on the CT3IP, POSIP are stock VIP2/50's but with no center
divider to allow use with double-wide cards. The FEIP2 is a VIP2/1x,
with a modified ID (like the GEIP), while the FEIP is based on the
the old VIP1, which apparently exited in some form with with Serial PA's.

The other IP's HIP, FIP, AIP, etc are all unique cards.
