        What I normally do is to set 2000 minutes in the first two to three vtys and
just a few minutes (4 or so) in the rest. That way, you can leave a telnet
session open if you need to do something or check from time to time by hand,
while if you run out of vtys you are guaranteed to recover one in a few
minutes. Sorry I don't remember where did I take this clever trick from, maybe
from the IOS Essentials.
