[nsp] C5800 causing Livingston Radius to stop logging??

I have recently replaced 9 5300's with a 5800. After doing
this, our radius server has been unable to create detail files.
We have triple checked the radius configs on the router, checked
the radius config on the Unix server as well. In a nutshell here
is what happens:

Server is running Livingston Radius 2.1. The Unix server is FreeBSD
4.2 and 4.3-RC1. After starting radius, detail files are created and
calls are logged. After about 5 minutes of operation, the accounting
daemon no logger logs calls to the detail files. We have to kill the
daemon and restart radiusd (takes about 4 minutes to restart) to get
calls logged again. This of course results in the same problem. The
netstat -na command reports there is a Recv-Queue of about 17800 on
the accounting port (1646). Has anyone ever seen this? My thought is
that perhaps too much data is being received for one unit. Any insight
on this problem would be greatly appreciated.
