It should work in any of the free ones. The bus in slot0/1 has more
bandwidth to spare, so that would be the logical choice.

That's "OIR" = "online insertion and reboot". 75xxs can be picky about
new adapters - sometimes they crash, sometimes they reboot, sometimes they
just need a few minutes to boot up the VIP and then continue normal
operation.
