no comments on the pricing, but a couple of clarifications -

it's 2 10/100/1000 ports. and it's not really a NPE-350. it has
a processor that is slightly faster then the NPE-400, and it has the
same PXF forwarding path as the NSE-1. but because of some design
compromises, the memory bus is the same speed as the NSE-1 and NPE-300.

so depending on your application you may get NPE-300 performance or
NPE-400 performance or inbetween or NSE-1 performance (if your feature
can be PXF accelerated, the performance between a 7401 and a 7200 VXR
with NSE-1 will be identical).

it's also 1 RU unit high :)
