Well, this is all second hand info from our NMS group, but this is what
I'm told:

When manually trying to enter the interface, they get this error:

When setting object attributes, you entered a non-unique value in a text
field that requires a unique value. The text fields that requried
unique values are identified by an asterick in from of the label.

The database name for the text field in error is "IP Address"

HPOV will not automatically add the interface either. If you drill down
into the router icon, the interface doesn't show up since it wasn't
discovered.
