Before ISL between the 2924XL and the 3640, I had configured one port in the
2924XL with multi-vlan and the routerīs Fast interface with two IP
addresses. The configuration of the switch's interface was:
switchport multi vlan 1,2
switchport mode multi
In this case I couldn't communicate with the elements in VLAN 1, that is,
the elements in the same subnet as the switch IP address. I couldn't ping
them neither from the outside, nor from the switch itself.
The same configuration has worked between another 2924XL and a 7513 router.
Do you know if there is a problem with multi-vlan and 3640 routers?
