[nsp] ISDN Problem

Hello,

We have a problem with an ISDN connection. We have just installed an E1/ISDN BRI module in a MC3810. The exisiting ISDN link is from another router which is connected to the router above via Ethernet.

The connection works just fine on the original connection but when we connect to the new ISDN module on the 3810, the call connects for 10 secs. and then disconnects.

We already tried all testing and even replaced the module and it still produced the same results. We also tried to disable the password authentication chap (thinking it is an authentication error) and it still doesn't work.

What seems to be the problem?? I noticed that when I do the show controllers, my original connection produced the same result. When I do the show controllers on the ISDN BRI port on the E1/ISDN module, I have a different result and it somewhat uses a channel from the E1... Is this normal? Can it connect (compatible hardware, BRI module to E1/ISDN module)? Is there any configuration that I can do to make it compatible to the other?

Thanks
