[nsp] low bandwidth over GRE and L2TP

Hello,

I have a problem with a L2TP and GRE based "vpn". The network itself is
running fine. I get the connections between the offices (GRE) and the
remotes users (L2TP) and the bandwidth is fine, when I transmit files
with FTP. But if I want to use the file sharing from Windows 98/NT/2000
to copy files between the locations I get only the half of the bandwidth
(about 3,5 to 5 KByte/sec.), which I get with FTP (6,5 to 7 KByte/sec).

Did some know if this is a windows specific problem? Do I need some
special tunnel command on the cisco 1600 or must I change some thing on
the windows based computers?
Did some one know a doc, some where in the web, how to run windows
networks over GRE tunnels?

interface Tunnel3
 ip unnumbered Loopback0
 ip helper-address 10.120.100.12
 bandwidth 128
 tunnel source Loopback0
 tunnel destination 195.143.111.111

regards,
Atto Lorenz.
