No; you can configure Catalysts to load-balance based on source MAC
address, so you can have many-to-one-MAC traffic patterns balance out
pretty evenly.

By the way: For CatOS, the command is `set port channel', not
`set port trunk' as I wrote earlier. Sorry for that.
