PAM in firewall feature set

Hi guys,

can anybody explain the difference between "Port to Application Mapping"
of firewall feature set -> "ip port map http 21 list nn" and static
NAT with PAT -> "ip nat inside static source static tcp 1.1.1.1 8080
1.1.1.1 80" ?

I can see that static NAT is doing _one_ IP address where an access list
can do a bunch of networks. But as far as I can see PAM seems to be
not more than PAT.

Do I miss something ?

TIA
