Hello all,

We activated a few hours ago an HSSI on a VIP2-40 (on CS7507) and we
noticed that we have a lot of input errors:

5 minute input rate 5235000 bits/sec, 1062 packets/sec
5 minute output rate 1158000 bits/sec, 970 packets/sec
36489550 packets input, 4189804262 bytes, 1 no buffer
Received 0 broadcasts, 0 runts, 4 giants
         0 parity
281859 input errors, 135002 CRC, 0 frame, 5870 overrun, 0 ignored, 140987 abort
40253137 packets output, 4158990959 bytes, 0 underruns

The router is running 11.1.18.CC software (after your suggestions ;-) and the
configuration is the following:

interface Hssi4/0/0
description ...
ip address ...
ip access-group 120 out
ip access-group 130 in
ip accounting output-packets
ip accounting access-violations
no ip route-cache distributed
bandwidth 8192

Is there anything that you think we can do in order to eliminate the
input errors?

Thanks in advance,

Vicky
