Now i am working with wccpv1 and IOS12.05T.
on router it is showing

router>>show ip wccp web-cache detail
WCCP Cache-Engine information:
        IP Address: 192.168.1.2
        Protocol Version: 0.4
        State: Usable
        Initial Hash Info: 00000000000000000000000000000000
                               00000000000000000000000000000000
        Assigned Hash Info: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
                               FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
        Hash Allotment: 256 (100.00%)
        Packets Redirected: 180
        Connect Time: 00:00:36

But i feel that redirected packets are not coming back to its destination.
How should i troubleshoot.
When i am enabling wccp on router interface my surfing not working.
Is the gateway address(192.168.1.3) of proxy machine important. Here gateway
of proxy is another router.
On proxy machine the only action i did was
ifconfig gre0 up . and in squid.conf
wccp_version 1 , wccp_router 192.168.1.1

Any body can help me ......
Thanks
pankaj
