Very strange. I'm not currently seeing any memory-leak
type situations in my current testing.

Can you send me your config file? (in private)

I'm using a 4.4-RC2 FreeBSD on one of my test boxes
monitoring about 700 devices and it seems to work ok.

The Killing stale check is quite peculiar also. That means
that it wasn't able to send 7 pings within 88 seconds. Something
is obviously wrong as that means the service_test_ping() function
is not being called enough times and that something else is sucking up
all the cpu time.

I wonder if there is something unique about your configuration
that is triggering a memory leak.
