Each bridge sends a signal five channels wide.  If you set a bridge to
channel 6, you also use 4, 5, 7, 8.  So if you want interference free
channels, you can use 1, 6, 11  (11 is the highest channel available in
the US).  With some work, I have been able to use 1, 3, 6, 9, 11.
