[nsp] pix 6.3

Interoperability of many vendors' endpoints mostly. We found that prior
to 6.3, interoperability was lacking thru the pix. Some
interoperability that worked using a switch, failed thru the pix. In
addition, we tested gatekeeper and MCU functionality. We have a ton of
distance learning via H.323 in our state-wide network, and many sites
have firewall issues with H.323. With 6.3, interoperability was 100%
among all vendors' endpoints we tested. This process provided us a
better understanding of what our customers are experiencing and allowed
us to interact better in helping them.

Our SE pointed out somewhere in the process that prior to 6.3, their
H.323 support did not include H.323 version 3 or 4. He says 6.3 is the
first to support those. These endpoints use H.323 v3/4, which we
believe is the cause of the interop problems pre-6.3.

Hello...

Docs for the PIX OS v 6.3 have been available for awhile, the
not the software image itself.

OSPF, yea!
Local user authentication database
AES

Anyone know if it is almost here, or should I stop holding my breath :)?

Let's face it, there's no Hollow Earth, no robots, and
no 'mute rays.' And even if there were, waxed paper is
no defense. I tried it. Only tinfoil works.
