One common cause is queuing mismatch between VIP and RSP. Take a look at
CSCds70497 which explains this a bit. Do you also see punt adjacency on the
RSP, or only on the VIP?
Of course we also punt packets when they deserve some special treatment like
features only supported in the process path on a given platform (like
compression).

Do you mean RTP Header compression as well? And FRF.12? Does it lead to punt
packets on dCEF interfaces?
