I would suggest cisco 6500/sup-720 or 7200 vxr/G1-NPE.

Subject: [c-nsp] BGP + switch

Hi all

I´ll wonder if someone can be able to answer this :)

I need for a new backbone 2 switches with high throughput , and BGP is a must. The ports density is not a problem.
I thought about the 3750G 24 TS Cisco´s with EMI. But they are only able to have around 11k routes, and I need them to be able to have the full BGP table.

Does someone of you any idea of some hardware solution to do this?

thanks and regards

Javier
