The VIP2-50 can go to 128Mb of DRAM, which is plenty for a full BGP
table ("as of today") - ours have about 128 Mb installed, and about
66 Mb are still free (12.0(27)S).  So if you have enough DRAM, and are
not doing anything particularily CPU-intensive on the VIP2-50, it should
be fast enough.

Tough question :) - and hard to answer, without knowing how bandwidth
need, features, etc., develop for your application...
