You should start by looking at the feature list: None of the old
switches (including, for example, the XLs and the 1900s) support
802.1x.

To get 802.1x support you should be looking at only the current
products.

... But if the boxes do support it, you can roll it out with your
favorite scripting language, or something like RANCID.
