no problem. Even 384MB will do

Much depends on your traffic characteristic. I have a 1841 with 384 of 
RAM, 6 full feeds and little traffic and the box is idling all the time

  CPU utilization for five seconds: 2%/1%; one minute: 7%; five minutes: 7%
