thanks for the feedback Dennis & Gert. I'll start with 12.3 then for now, I feel more comfortable with it anyway ;)
I didn't realize PPPoE/L2TP isn't in 12.2S at all, our frist LACs are running 12.2(16)B2 as it was recommended by the upstream and I never seen any need to touch it..
