Hello ,

The following has been added to Ebgp session template

router bgp <x>
neighbor <...> route-map setweight in
!
route-map setweight permit 10
set weight 33000

Not really nive but at least you make sure your router is choosing your
Ebgp path Vs. Mibgp ( it is an Mpls Environment ) , Cisco Weight being the
first parameters Bgp checks when it runs it is path decision algorithm

I have seen several places where Cisco recommends setting admin distance
the same (200) for both EBGP and IBGP. A Cisco BGP workshop held in
Stockholm, Sweden in February 2003 (by Alvaro Retana and Daniel Walton)
recommended the following BGP template:

  router bgp XXXX
   bgp deterministic-med
   no synchronization
   no auto-summary
   distance 200 200 200
