But if you want something that isn't over-subscribed within an inch of  
it's life you'd go with a WS-X6148A-GE-TX rather than a WS-X6148-GE-TX.  
  The "non A" version really doesn't make sense anymore.  It run's with  
8 ports per ASIC (rather than 1 port per ASIC), has 1 MB of buffer  
shared per 8 ports (rather than 2.67 MB per port), doesn't support  
jumbo frames and is actually more expensive than the 6148A.  Go figure.
