[c-nsp] ST not disabling port?

Sorry if this is a stupid question ...

To date, I thought that once I connect two or more switches together so
that one or more loops exist, ST would take care of "cutting" one
connection ... Been there before, done that, worked as expected.

Anyway, after finally getting the appropriate bits and pieces, I
connected 2 3560 and a 3524 yesterday ... going through fiber links
between the 3524 and each of the 3560, and a dual copper gbit
etherchannel between the two 3560's, none of the links were disabled --
all links are shown as "green", "show int" lists them as active - I
couldn't find anything not working, no obvious loops ...

I also connected a 3548 to each of the 3560 via 100M copper, of those
two links, one was disabled on the 3560 (orange LED) ... so, seems like
the switches do work as expected ...

Am I missing anything here, or is this behaviour correct?

Tnx!

-gg
