[c-nsp] Subinterfaces on a 6500 Native?

6500(config)#int g2/12
6500(config-if)# no ip address
6500(config-if)# udld port aggressive
6500(config-if)#interface g2/12.100                                  ^
		          ^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.


That is what I was trying to accomplish (vs setting up the VLAN routing 
in a global InterVLAN routing config the way its done on a 3750).

For some reason, this 6500 isn't accepting dot interfaces at all.
