hello,

yes, you can use ip access list on 2960 even if it's only a L2 device:

Example: (mark <IP> with DSCP = EF)

ip access-list standard acl-test
	permit <IP>

class-map cm-test
	match access-group name acl-test

policy-map pm-test
	class cm-test
		set dscp EF

(service-policy input pm-test on interface)
