The documentation clearly states that: "Both supervisor engines
in a single chassis must be completely identical.", but since it
won't work for redundancy anyway, there's little reason to do so,

Use the 10G supervisor and a WS-X6408A-GBIC blade. That's also
cheaper than two supervisors.
