[c-nsp] MPLS IP command on tunnel interface - PE to PE tunnel

Do you see any reason to enable LDP on tunnel interface when configuring
MPLS TE between PE routers?
(configure "mpls ip" under tunnel mode)

Doing research I found this:

"TE Tunnels Between P Routers
The configuration of a TE tunnel to support MPLS VPN traffic between P
routers is much the same as that for a tunnel between PE routers but
with one key difference on the head-end router: enabling LDP (or TDP) on
the tunnel interface."

But sometimes I saw configurations of MPLS TE between PE routers using
"mpls ip" under the tunnel.
