Well, I guess CEF needs all the relevant information (next hop IP +
interface) to build a full adjacency, and not just a glean adjacency.

I can't figure out why the glean wouldn't work, i.e. why there would
never be any response to the ARP for 10.5.5.74. I guess CEF has some
voodoo elements. :-)
