[c-nsp] Can not Ping serial0/0/0

Friends,
 
I just connected a Cisco 2811 se0/0/0 to a 128k Link Modem ( LL)  and
fed the point to point IP address and using default HDLC . Se0/0/0 is UP
line Protocol is UP.
 
I can not ping the local se0/0/0 from the Console and the remote WAN IP.
I have complete CDP information of the remote router.
 
I can ping from the LAN. Any clue?
