Which platform?

The WS-F6700-DFC3CXL is supported on any CEF720 blade on boxes
running 12.2(33)SRB on Sup720 and RSP720 in 7600. However, it
will operate in 3BXL mode with the Sup720.

For Catalyst 6500s running 12.2(18)SXF, it's only supported on
WS-X6708-10GE (but will operate in 3BXL mode). With 12.2(33)SXH
it's supported on any CEF720 module, but again will operate in
3BXL mode with the Sup720 (without 10G).
