Hi there,

 

I have a 6509E (SUP 720 ) switch where I am gonna upgrade the IOS . The
present code is loaded on sup-bootflash: ( 65Mb). So I added an external
disk which gives me enough space.

After loading the news ios to the disk0, what will be the new boot
statement?

 

boot system disk0:ios.bin 

or 

boot system flash disk0:ios.bin
