I actually already disabled (powered off) the SFC that was tossing the LOS error

On slot 1 it says:

>From Fabric FIA Errors
-----------------------
cell fifo parity 0 no 125 MHz clock 0
cell processor ctrl wd error 0 reassembly mem ctrl wd error 0
reassembly mem single ECC 0 reassembly mem multi ECC 0
first last err 0 sequence err 0 pkt length err 0
Switch cards present: 0x17
Switch cards monitored: 0x17
          0 1 2 3 4
       -------- -------- -------- -------- --------
los 0 0 0 0 0
state Off Off Off Off Off
crc16 0 0 0 0 0

on the chassis itself (sh cont fia) it says:

Slot: 18 19 20 21 22
Name: sfc0 sfc1 sfc2 sfc3 sfc4
       -------- -------- -------- -------- --------
los 0 0 0 0 0
state Off Off Off Off Off
crc16 2 2 2 0 2

Slot 21 is disabled which is why it doesnt have any CRC16s I suppose.

on my other 12810 it says 0 for all CRC16.

thanks,
-Drew

+1.

Last time this happened to me, re-seating the SFC in question made the
problem go away.
