MRV LX aren't bad, but I have a couple of problems with them: 1. I haven't
found any way of configuring ports to ignore carrier status, which means
that for those devices which don't raise carrier, I need to build a custom
cable, 2. the CLI is truly horrible, and there is no excuse in 2011 for not
supporting emacs-like control keys (e.g. ^U, ^W, ^A, etc), and 3. the
programmable menuing system is facepalmingly awful.

On the +ve side, they appear to be quite reliable, and are well worth
getting the dual PSU models with dual mgmt ethernet ports which can do
default gateway detection using arp requests.
