also ensure you pay attention to the sentence after that one.  the one that says:
	"That switch or set of stacked switches must be 80.ad-com- pliant and configured to use that link-aggregation".

it also talks about "set of stacked switches" with the context being if the switch / switch vendor you're plugging in to supports link aggregation across a stack or multiple physical switches.

in Cisco terms this means it must be VSS (Catalyst 6500), vPC (Nexus 5000, Nexus 7000) or etherchannel in a Catalyst 3750 stack.
